A group of youth has protested  the increase in cults in Akure, describing it as worrisome.

Although youth  are few in numbers, but with a variety of inscriptions of the slogan, issued anger, urging
Security action personnel to fulfill their responsibilities.

Over the past few months in Akuru's cult-related conflict has been increasing.

Ondo police arrest two for attacking Igbokoda monarch

Ondo State police have arrested two suspects suspected of attacking the Igbokoda monarch in a government area in the Oba Afolabi Odidiomo area in Ondo State On Thursday, the Oba was attacked by a mob in his community with a machete.
