COMMUNAL CLASH IN KWARA STATE

Image result for kwara state mapThree people were killed and several others were wounded after the dispute between two neighboring communities, Ilofa and Odo-owa, in the Oke-ero local government area of kwara state.

Eyewitnesses said that it all started when one of the traditional rulers from one of the two communities entered the market shared by the two villages, to flag off annual yarn festivals.

It is reported that traditional ruler from the other community was not at rest with what they did in the market and went into the market  with criminals to dislodge them.

Soldiers have be deployed to  maintain law and order.
