SIX ARRESTED FOR KILLING APC CHIEFTAIN

Ondo's police authorities arrested six suspects, for allegedly killing  Olumide Odimayo, head of all the Progressive Congress (APC) in the state.

 On Thursday the kidnapped Odimayo's inanimate body was found by local vigilantes  at Ogolo at Ese Odo local government area.

 The gunman kidnap Odimayo in his home in Igbotu community, asking for a ransom before he will be free.

 However, the spokesman for the National Police Commissioner Femi Joseph confirmed s the development,  said that suspects suspected of being involved in the murder would be sued to court.
Describing the event to be unfortunate Joseph said that APC chiefs were killed on the waterway.

Ondo police arrest two for attacking Igbokoda monarch

Ondo State police have arrested two suspects suspected of attacking the Igbokoda monarch in a government area in the Oba Afolabi Odidiomo area in Ondo State On Thursday, the Oba was attacked by a mob in his community with a machete. The traditional ruler sustain several cut on his head, and was left by the assailant to stay in a pool of blood. Fermi Joseph, a spokesman for the National Police Command, confirmed the arrest of a suspect in the television-radio news-gathering in Akure and also announced the leader of a thug who was wanted by a policeman Iván Tan. Police image maker also revealed that a 40-year-old man was arrested in the Okitipupa local government to kill a 70-year-old man.
