Reps, Falana, others oppose Morocco’s bid to join ECOWAS

Image result for ecowasThe House warned not to support Morocco's candidacy to join the Economic Community of West African States.

Nigeria's accession to ECOWAS, the voice of Morocco joining the society, is being discussed at hearings organized by the Joint Commission of the House of Representatives.

Others at the hearing also said that Nigeria should not consider the option of withdrawing from the Economic Community of West African States because it sacrificed much for the regional integration in the West African subregion.
