Alleged abuse of office : IGP Idris appears before Senate

IGP-Senate-TVCNews.jpg2Accompanied by his attorney, Alex Iziyon (SAN), the police chief is the Special Assistant to the Speaker of Parliament (Senate), Senator Ita Enang, police management team and Public Relations Officer.

The Senate convened Idris to appear in front of the allegations against Senator Issa Misua.


Police boss confirmed on Friday that he is prepared to attend committee meetings.

Ondo police arrest two for attacking Igbokoda monarch

Ondo State police have arrested two suspects suspected of attacking the Igbokoda monarch in a government area in the Oba Afolabi Odidiomo area in Ondo State On Thursday, the Oba was attacked by a mob in his community with a machete. The traditional ruler sustain several cut on his head, and was left by the assailant to stay in a pool of blood.
