Ellen Sirleaf visits Imo state to meet Liberian students

Image result for sirleaf liberia in imoLiberian President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf conducted a two-day visit to Oweri, the capital of Imo, in southeastern Nigeria.

Sirleaf will meet with students on Friday at the Rochas Foundation, where she will speak on "Women in Politics" at the Imo International Convention Center.

Johnson Sirleaf's visit was for meeting students at the Rochas Foundation, particularly Liberian parents whose parents have died of Ebola virus.

She will also be included in the vision of Rochas Foundation in 2030, with the goal of bringing one million African children to the streets to educate them.

Ondo police arrest two for attacking Igbokoda monarch

Ondo State police have arrested two suspects suspected of attacking the Igbokoda monarch in a government area in the Oba Afolabi Odidiomo area in Ondo State On Thursday, the Oba was attacked by a mob in his community with a machete. The traditional ruler sustain several cut on his head, and was left by the assailant to stay in a pool of blood. Fermi Joseph, a spokesman for the National Police Command, confirmed the arrest of a suspect in the television-radio news-gathering in Akure and also announced the leader of a thug who was wanted by a policeman Iván Tan. Police image maker also revealed that a 40-year-old man was arrested in the Okitipupa local government to kill a 70-year-old man.
