Lai Mohammed urges Journalists to support Buhari’s anti-graft war

Image result for lai mohammedMinister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed charge media personnel of not ridiculing the anti-corruption war started by the Buhari government but instead participating in the vicious fight against the threat.

He made that call at the sixty-eighth session of the Nigerian broadcasting organization's General Assembly in Abuja on Monday.

This is the sixty-eighth General Assembly of the Nigerian broadcasting organization where various media staff are discussing ways to deal effectively with corruption.

Speaking at the meeting, the Information Minister urged the media to use various platforms to support and encourage the Buhari government rather than ridiculing anti-corruption efforts.

Other speakers also stressed that media executives need to be aware of their broadcasts, their narratives about creativity and the use of dangerous naratives.

Despite the challenges that Nigeria's broadcasting industry faces, media managers have a responsibility to seize the opportunity to explore creative, effective and professional broadcasting.
