House of rep member withdraws from 2019 election

Nigerian politician withdraws from 2019 race, says legislators and politicians too corrupt
It was gathered that Adamu in a letter dated November 16, 2017 to the chairman, All Progressive Congress (APC), Niger state stated that he is not interested in contesting or re-contesting his current position. 

The House of rep also stated that in line with Prophet Muhammad's teaching that anyone seeking to be appointed or elected into public office should be rejected.

Adamu however added that he is willing to donate his experience and expertise to the party if they so wish.
