Buhari writes NASS, to present 2018 Budget Nov. 7
President Mohammed Buhari has informed the two chambers of the National Assembly to present
the estimated 2018 budget for Tuesday, November 7.
The president is expected to present the budget before the parliamentary meeting by 2 p.m.
This can be said that for the first time since he took office in 2015, the president has submitted a budget proposal to the National Assembly.
There are such rituals every year before December, and some Nigerians believe that the new developments will ensure that the fiscal year's budget is passed in time.
It would be recalled that the 2016 budget was characterized by so-called fill-in which resulted in the passing of the delay and the assent of the President, as well as the suspension of the controversy by Abdulmumin Jibrin, former Chairman of the House Committee.
