4,000 LOCAL GOVERNMENT SACK BY KADUNA STATE GOVERNMENT
Kaduna state government has terminated the employment of more than 4,000 local government workers in order to reduce the labor force of the local government.
The government led by El-Rufa said the system was over-inflated and employees earned their wages, and they did nothing.
3,019 staff members have retired and the appointment of 830 staff members has been completed.
Although the former category will receive three months' salary instead of notice and pensions, the latter will only receive one month's salary instead of notice.
