Nigerians queue for hours to buy petrol

Any gas station going to Nigeria today is either completely empty or locked or long line up.

Motorists and people who fuel their cars and generators now use gasoline on a few car sites.

Image result for fuel scarcityIn some gas stations in Lagos, the price rose to 180 Naira, the black market rose 300 Naira.

Only a few NNPC branded stations are sold with the approved 145 Nina pump.

But the federal government said there is no plan to increase official prices.

And now NNPC says the top six marketers are now loading fuel in the warehouse for 24 hours to end the fuel shortage.

Ondo police arrest two for attacking Igbokoda monarch

Ondo State police have arrested two suspects suspected of attacking the Igbokoda monarch in a government area in the Oba Afolabi Odidiomo area in Ondo State On Thursday, the Oba was attacked by a mob in his community with a machete. The traditional ruler sustain several cut on his head, and was left by the assailant to stay in a pool of blood. Fermi Joseph, a spokesman for the National Police Command, confirmed the arrest of a suspect in the television-radio news-gathering in Akure and also announced the leader of a thug who was wanted by a policeman Iván Tan. Operatives  of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission raided the home of former vice president of Nigeria, Naimadi Sambo, on Wednesday in  Kaduna . The details of the operation are still rough when submitting this report.
