End to anti-terror war not in sight – Army chief
The Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Yusuf Buratai has said that the fight against insurgency in Nigeria's northeast will continue for a while.
Buratai explains that even when the boko haram insurgency comes to an end, other forms of crime will spring up due to the strategic nature of the Lake Chad.
The Army Chief who was speaking to former field commanders in the crackdown against insurgency stressed that the multinational force must remain to take care of the security threats that would emerge.
