Court Upholds Proscription Of IPOB

The Acting Chief of judge who justice Abdul Kafarati on Thursday, considered that the application was duly submitted to the Tribunal by the Attorney General as an experimental motion.

He also ruled that the right to a fair hearing and to freedom of association has not been abused, since everything required for such an application is duly authorized by the President.

Justice, Kfaratti, demands that secessionist groups pay the Attorney General a fine of N500.

IPOB lawyer Ifeanyi Ejiofor believes the ruling will be challenged in the Court of Appeal.

The federal government has opened a meeting room after the dispute between the Nepalese army and the IPOB members led by Mr. Nnamdi Kanu has claimed that it is a terrorist organization.
