Image result for NAF inaugurates Medical assistance programme for Makurdi Flood victimsThe Nigerian Air Force, on Monday inaugurated medical assistance programme to meet the medical needs of the recent flood victims in Makurdi, Benue.

The Director of Public Relations and Information, NAF Headquarters, Air Commodore Olatokunbo Adesanya, disclosed this in a statement in Abuja.

 According to Adesanya, the programme was inaugurated by Air Officer Commanding (AOC) Tactical Air Command (TAC) of NAF, AVM MA Idris.

 He said the programme was part of the Command’s corporate social responsibility and was borne out of the desire to contribute to the medical needs of the flood victims.。

Ondo police arrest two for attacking Igbokoda monarch

Ondo State police have arrested two suspects suspected of attacking the Igbokoda monarch in a government area in the Oba Afolabi Odidiomo area in Ondo State On Thursday, the Oba was attacked by a mob in his community with a machete. The traditional ruler sustain several cut on his head, and was left by the assailant to stay in a pool of blood. Fermi Joseph, a spokesman for the National Police Command, confirmed the arrest of a suspect in the television-radio news-gathering in Akure and also announced the leader of a thug who was wanted by a policeman Iván Tan. Police image maker also revealed that a 40-year-old man was arrested in the Okitipupa local government to kill a 70-year-old man.
